Since 1991, RLP Electric has been supplying high voltage electrical equipment to the Australian and New Zealand electricity distribution markets

Specialising in Instrument Transformers, for both indoor switchboard and outdoor substation applications, we have also supplied power transformers, high voltage disconnectors, high voltage capacitors, resin insulated auxiliary transformers, high voltage circuit breakers and ring main switchgear.

With more than 30 years of professional engineering experience in high voltage power transmission and distribution in Australia, we have sought out independently owned and quality assured manufacturers of high voltage electrical equipment, whose products would suit the Australian market.

Over the years, we have held period supply contracts with each of Australia’s electricity transmission and distribution companies and utilities, with many repeat contracts also having been awarded to us.

We have supplied our indoor instrument transformers to every major high voltage switchboard manufacturer in Australia, as well a great many of the smaller builders, with thousands of our products having been installed in and around Australian and New Zealand.
